BOSA

In a corner of the Venetian countryside made almost fairytale by the irregular play of the hills and the path of lively waterways, in a village that takes its name from the noblest and highest mountain peak, Borso Del Grappa, it has been settled for a considerable time Bosa Ceramiche, a ceramic laboratory known all over the world. It is no coincidence that the great tradition of Bassano ceramics, the Venetian spirit of cosmopolitan culture and the pioneering attention to Asolo innovation converge in this area of the Veneto foothills. It was in 1976 that Italo Bosa started its ceramic production following the ancient processing techniques for objects made entirely by hand, enhanced by a rich color palette, decorated with precious metals - gold, platinum, copper - and enamels with exclusive shades created by a company. Precise techniques are still the basis of Bosa's production today and that gives the objects uniqueness, quality and recognition. The ceramic objects and furnishing accessories created in the Bosa maison, in addition to expressing all the knowledge of the artisan craft, transmit that incessant experimentation of the possibilities of ceramics which has among its objectives the transformation of formal and functional habits into new interpretations, new fantastic functions and worlds, a mission that Italo Bosa was able to transfer to his daughters Francesca and Daniela, to his wife and to all his collaborators. What distinguishes Bosa, making it a leading company in the field of design ceramics in Italy and in the world, is precisely having made research and innovation the strengths of the company, so much so that it is able to carry out projects almost impossible due to the difficulty of the molds and the oversized dimensions, which highlight the founder's special propensity to share design adventures with designers, mostly young people from European origins, experimenters of new languages, who have helped to define the high positioning of the brand Bosa. From the initial collaboration with Marco Zanuso Jr. and the consolidated relationship with the Palomba-Serafini studio, Bosa has established friendly professional relationships with Satyendra Pakhalé, Patricia Urquiola, Marco Morosini, Manolo Bossi, Gualtiero Sacchi, Sam Baron, Luca Nichetto and a particular feeling with Jaime Hayon, creator of many joyful universes and the talented Elena Salmistraro. Equally important are the collaborations with leading companies such as Minotti, Moroso, B&B Italia, Baccarat and customized supplies for Ferrari, Escada, DeBeers and others. Bosa is currently present in more than 50 countries around the world, not only for its reputation, brand image and product identity, but also thanks to the implementation of a timely marketing policy that allows the company to oversee different market niches with a wide range. Distribution thus extensively resolved also benefits from the substantial presence of works of art design in the most prestigious international museums, through thematic exhibitions, temporary exhibitions and bookshops that give the company continuous and beneficial visibility.
