Stefano Giovannoni was born in La Spezia in 1954, an architect and designer student of Buti at the University of Florence where he graduated in 1978. He collaborated with Ettore Sottsass and Alchimia-Mendini. He works as an architect, industrialist and interior designer for companies such as Alessi - for whom he has designed more than 300 plastic and steel products - Amore Pacific, Artsana, Bertazzoni, Bisazza, Cederroth, Deborah, Elica, Fabbrica Pelletterie Milano, Fiat, Hannspree , Hanssem, Helit, Henkel, Honeywell, Inda, Kankio, KDDI, Kokuyo, Laufen, LG Hausys, L'Oreal - Maletti, Better, Mikakuto, Moooi, Nestle-Frisco, Nissan, NTT Docomo, Olivari, Oras, Oregon Scientific, Papernet-Sofidel, Promelit, Pulsar, Replay, Samsung, Seiko, Shaf, Siemens, Skitsch, Sodastream, SPC, Star, Telecom, Toto, 3M, Tubes, Veneta Cucine, Vondom, ZTE, etc. He has designed highly successful products such as the "Girotondo", the "Mami" series, "Il Bagno Alessi" and the "Bombo" series for Magis.
