Vittorio Zecchin

Vittorio Zecchin (1878-1947) was an Italian designer and artist famous for his beautiful glass creations. A leading representative of the Art Nouveau movement in Italy, he was well known for his search for a new artistic style that combined tradition and innovation. After an intense involvement in painting, he approached the art of glassmaking. His highly refined glassware did not go unnoticed: the Veronese vases, made for the famous Venini glass factory, are a perfect example of his craft.
