He had many references, from the naive of the Amazon, to the signs and the utopias typical of his design thought. A pattern of pure fantasy, composed in patch-work with heterogeneous and inhomogeneous parts, capable of arousing non-describable hypotheses of ancient tales.

Alessandro Mendini (1931-2019), architect, was born in Milan. He directed the magazines Casabella, Modo, Domus and he collaborated with international companies and was a consultant for various industries, including those in the East Asia. He was awarded the Compasso d'oro Prize for design (1979-1981-2014). He was appointed Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in France and he achieved the Architectural League of New York and the Laurea Honoris Causa at the universities of Milan, Paris, Wroclaw, Seoul. His works can be found in various museums and private collections.
