Illulian, the iconic Milanese luxury rug brand, continues to redefine the boundaries of contemporary rug design with the introduction of Groove, a bold new addition to the Design Collection. With its fluid, irregular form and dynamic pattern, Groove challenges conventional aesthetics, offering an avant-garde piece that transforms any space into a gallery of movement and artistic expression.
Inspired by freehand gestures and abstract movement, Groove disrupts traditional rug design with its unpredictable silhouette and striking abstract marks. The interweaving of these dynamic elements creates a vibrant, three-dimensional visual effect that captures the eye.
Complemented by a neutral, bicolour palette of warm tones, the design exudes a natural elegance, allowing it to integrate effortlessly into a variety of interior styles, from modern and industrial to eclectic and avant-garde.
The rugs are knotted and carded by hand and can be made in two quality levels: Platinum 120, the most exclusive line stands out by the use of top-quality wool and silk and the extremely complex handcrafted process – with a stunning 180,000 knots/m2 – that creates spectacular sculpted effects. Gold 100 proposes rugs made from wool and silk, with a timeless charm and a density of 152,000 knots/m2.
Himalayan wool, pure silk and vegetable colors are the essential elements that contribute to giving any carpet a sophisticated appearance; soft chromatic details guarantee any environment an exclusive and elegant allure. Every rug is completely customizable in terms of size and color, to meet the specific needs of every international customer.
Thanks to the Custom-Made service, a consolidated ace up the brand's sleeve, it is possible to create a bespoke carpet, through a personalized selection of colors, patterns, and sizes.
