Refund policy

 

REFUND POLICY

The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers, meaning individuals acting for purposes unrelated to their professional activity. Therefore, purchases made by resellers, companies, and entities acting for professional purposes are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

A. The CLIENT has the right to withdraw from the contract without any penalty and without specifying the reason within 14 days from the receipt of the goods.

B. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the CLIENT must notify DCPS by sending an explicit declaration via:

  • Registered letter with return receipt;
  • Email to info@danilocascella.com, including order details (recipient's name, email address, date of receipt, quantity, name, and product code for which the withdrawal is exercised).

Alternatively, the CLIENT may complete the standard withdrawal form as per Annex 1 of Legislative Decree 21/2014 (optional). To download the form, click here.

C. If the product has already been delivered, the CLIENT must return it to the address provided by DCPS via email.

D. The return shipping costs are the CLIENT’s responsibility and must be completed within 14 days from the communication of withdrawal. The product must be returned intact, unused, in its original packaging, and with any accompanying documents. Returns sent via cash on delivery or with shipping costs charged to DCPS will not be accepted.

E. Any damages or non-conformities found upon receipt of the returned goods will be charged to the CLIENT, thus invalidating the right of withdrawal. In such cases, the merchandise will be made available for collection at the CLIENT’s expense.

F. Subject to the above conditions, DCPS will refund the amount paid, including any initial shipping costs, within a maximum of 7 days from receiving the returned goods. The refund will be processed using the same payment method as the original order, unless otherwise agreed.

2. DEFECTS AND WARRANTY

A. The CLIENT acknowledges that the products sold on the DCPS website are handmade and may have variations in color, size, or weight, which are not considered defects of conformity.

B. The handcrafted items described on the website are not suitable for holding liquids or food unless explicitly stated. Additionally, the color durability is not guaranteed when exposed to direct sunlight.

C. Damages, breakages, or wear due to improper use of the product will result in the loss of warranty rights.

D. The warranty does not cover damages caused by tampering, negligence, improper maintenance, or damages incurred during transport.

E. Consumers are protected by a 24-month legal warranty of conformity, as required by current regulations. If the received product has conformity defects, the CLIENT is entitled to free repair or replacement. The defect must appear within two years of delivery and must be reported to DCPS within two months of discovery.

3. PAYMENT METHODS

DCPS accepts the following payment methods:

  • PayPal: Payments are accepted via PayPal accounts. Orders will only be processed if shipped to the verified address associated with the PayPal account.
  • Credit Card: Credit card payments are processed through Stripe’s secure banking system. Accepted cards include Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
  • Bank Transfer: If selected as a payment method, the CLIENT will receive an email with payment instructions. The merchandise will be reserved until payment confirmation. The CLIENT must send a copy of the bank transfer receipt via email within 48 hours to avoid order cancellation.
  • Klarna: Installment payments are available through Klarna, according to the service's terms and conditions.

If the order cannot be fulfilled, the amount paid will be refunded using the same payment method chosen for the purchase
