Paul Thierry is a contemporary visual artist born in 1960 in Dramatal, Upper Silesia (Poland). After studying painting and graphic design in Katowice and continuing his education under Professor Lorenz in Bytom, he moved to Germany in 1987, where he began his journey as an innovator of modern monotype techniques.
Thierry is widely recognized for his unique use of monotype on glass and acrylic, producing artworks that play with light, transparency, and spatial layering. His compositions blend gesture painting, photography, newspaper clippings, cultural symbols, and pop imagery, resulting in multilayered visual narratives that reflect the chaos and rhythm of contemporary urban life.
