Kin Collection
Kin is a system of upholstered chairs and stools with reduced armrests. The structure is made of steel, and the upholstery is available in various materials and colors.
Similar to Japanese Kintsugi, where every fracture becomes a value, this chair designed by Radice and Orlandini blends distinct parts into a new aesthetic, suggesting a deliberately unstable balance. The supporting structure, which is invisible, brings forth a visual contrast between the components, which, with different materials and finishes, accentuate its discontinuity, transforming it into harmony. The armrests, minimal yet functional, provide support without being bulky, allowing the chair to be comfortably positioned under the table. An object rich in values and meanings, it is an authentic expression of a design that combines pragmatism and utopia.
