NASONMORETTI

Since 1923, NasonMoretti has been shaping Murano glass into timeless objects for everyday life. A century-long dialogue between tradition, colour and modern design, where craftsmanship slows time and elevates the ordinary.
Brand Story
Founded in 1923 by Ugo Nason together with his four sons, and soon joined by Francesco Moretti, NasonMoretti was born in Murano as Cristalleria Nason & Moretti, a glassworks dedicated to the production of refined yet accessible glassware for daily use.
From the very beginning, the brand distinguished itself through a clear modern sensibility and a strong chromatic identity. Tableware and decorative objects were conceived not as luxury for a few, but as beautifully designed companions for everyday life, objects of prestige with a timeless aesthetic.
A Century of Murano Craftsmanship
For over one hundred years, NasonMoretti has preserved a production process rooted in the ancient Murano tradition. Glass still passes from hand to hand: from the preparation of raw materials to hot working, tempering, cutting, grinding and finishing. Every gesture is essential, guided by experience and time, because quality is born of time.
All production phases take place exclusively in the brand’s historic Murano workshop in Venice, ensuring complete control over craftsmanship and quality.
Design for Everyday Beauty
Family-run to this day, NasonMoretti has always embraced contemporaneity while respecting tradition. As early as the mid-20th century, the brand stood out for a distinctly modern design language, earning international recognition, from the Compasso d’Oro in 1955 to large-scale projects for exclusive residences around the world.
The philosophy is clear: create objects that enrich daily life, slow down time and elevate every moment, proving that good design belongs not only to luxury, but to everyday rituals.
The Culture of Colour
At the heart of NasonMoretti lies a deep exploration of colour. Through meticulous research into the blending of sand, oxides and metals, the brand has developed a palette of over 80 colours, making colour the creative origin of every collection.
From timeless crystal tones such as antique crystal, erbium pink, laurel green and smoky brown, to the delicate nuances of wisteria and perfume green, and the expressive world of opaline glass, each shade is designed to evoke elegance, balance and emotion.
Italian Excellence, Made to Last
With more than 25,000 models developed, NasonMoretti stands as one of the most important references in Murano glass production for both tableware and decorative objects. Each piece reflects a slow, conscious craftsmanship, a celebration of Italian excellence shaped for contemporary living.
