Mexico, designed by Studio Job, is a skull-like design object with a graphic pattern on the surface, functioning both as a stool or a side table. Reminding of the traditional painted skulls from the homonymous country, Mexico is a whimsical reminder of the cyclicality of our presence on Earth, to exorcise death and celebrate life. The Mexico outdoor stool was designed by Studio Job for Qeeboo. Job recounts that he was inspired by a legendary figure who lived wrapped in mystery, not far from the house of the designers themselves: he was called the nameless singer. No one had ever seen her come out of her house, where heavy velvet curtains hid her from the looks of passers-by. The mysterious singer, was the author of a great musical success, entitled Mexico. The Mexico stool is a very particular seat. It has the shape of a skull but the particularity is given by the decorations such as hearts, fruit, and branches that are mixed with bones and other elements all in contrast with each other. It is made of polyethylene, available in different colors, in particular in ivory, black, green, and terracotta shades. It can be used to furnish a garden or can be used on a terrace as it resists outdoors. Obviously nothing forbids you to keep it in the living room, in the bedroom or in the studio. The seat is comfortable and being cut horizontally allows the stool Mexico to have double function. It can in fact also be used as a table or even bedside table. To clean it, just use a damp cloth to remove dust or any stains that may be created, especially when you use its comfort as a side table.
