Francesco Paretti was born in Terni and he graduated in industrial design from the University "La Sapienza" in Rome. He has worked as a design and engineering consultant for various companies and has designed products for many sectors: interior and outdoor, bath products, household items and tableware, lighting, transport, clothes and sports accessories, etc. ...
He has carried out teaching activities in various institutes such as the Polytechnic of the Arts “G.B. Cignaroli” in Verona and the Industrial Design department “L.U.D.I.” in Rome, he now teaches Industrial Design at the "IED" in Rome. Many of his design works have been exhibited in Design exhibitions.
He deals with design from concept to industrialization to production thanks to his engineering and marketing skills for many companies including:"PIETRO BERETTA spa", "Poltronova", "spa Radiomarelli "," ARC.HI.TECH. "," SLAMP S.P.A. "," MOAB80 S.P.A. He has designed products for several companies in his name or by signing together with leading designers and stylists, such as: Nigel Coates, Stefano Giovannoni, Anna Gili, Gai Mattiolo. Since 2008 he has collaborated with the Town Hall of Deruta, for pottery improvements: marketing strategies, study of materials, new products design, exhibitions set-up, including "Il profumo delle Maioliche" showcased 4 July - 30 September 2009 at the "Museo Regionale della Ceramica di Deruta" and 17 December - 22February 2010 at the "Musée International de la Parfumerie" in Grasse (France).
